Chef Amr grew up surrounded by the sights, sounds, and aromas of his family’s restaurant Peace Bakery, a place where his love for cooking first began.
Inspired by the art of creating bold, unique flavors, he decided to turn his passion into a lifelong craft. His journey led him to the Culinary Institute of America, where he refined his skills and deepened his understanding of technique and creativity. After graduating, he brought his vision back home to Austin, launching Salam’s Grill, a food truck that blends tradition, innovation, and community. Every dish he serves is a reflection of his roots, his training, and his belief that great food has the power to bring people together.
